Scenic River Tours, Inc. has been under the same ownership since 1977. We are a family owned and operated adventure company operating in the Gunnison, Crested Butte and Lake City areas.
We strive to show our guests the beauty and adventure of the Gunnison valley in a safe, professional and friendly manner. All of our guides are trained in C.P.R, and First Aid ( many are E.M.T. or W.F.R. trained ) and exceed Colorado’s training requirements for guiding. Many of our guides and office staff have been with us season after season.
We use the best equipment available and are constantly updating all our equipment , gear and training to ensure your satisfaction and safety.
Our main office is in downtown Gunnison and we have a second office right on the Taylor River. Both locations have gifts , souviniers and photos of your adventure available for purchase. The Gunnison office also carries a large selection of many major brands of river gear, rafts,inflateable kayaks,oars, paddles and equipment for sale.
We also rent inflateable kayaks for unguided use, as well as equipment rentals.
