The Gunnison River Photography Workshop
Let our years of experience guide you down the river. Capture breath taking photos from the comforts of a professionally guided raft on the Gunnison River while a professional instructor gives you guidance for that perfect photo. A seamless integration of leisurely photography and professional points of view.

Whether this is your first photography workshop or you are a seasoned professional looking for a new vantage point, this is the trip for you. A custom designed course will cater to everyone's specific needs. From basic exposure settings and composition to advanced techniques involving fill-flash and shutter speeds for various motion blurs.

Begin your photographic journey north of the City of Gunnison floating all the way down to Blue Mesa Reservoir. This trip gives you the only access to the base of the Palisade cliffs towering above head.  Continue down into the exquisite Gunnison ranchlands with uninterrupted wildlife around each bend.

The Gunnison Valley is home to a variety of wildlife from four-legged friends to a barrage of birds. The river winds through lush cottonwood forests and gorgeous granite cliffs surrounded in sagebrush that make for ideal backdrops.

There is no better way to explore the Gunnison Valley than from our beautiful rivers.  This exclusive float trip offers everyone a chance to see parts of the wilderness that cannot be seen any other way.  So pack your best photography equipment and get on board for a private tour that is bound to be the highlight of your vacation and portfolio.
